Pay range: $18-$22 per hour

General Characteristics: This position will ensure the timely and accurate flow of all drawing documents issued to internal and external clients.  Document control ensures that all users have the latest revisions in a timely manner.  Ensures proper tracking and archiving of all digital and hard copy drawings. Supervision with specific and detailed instructions from the Document Control supervisor for day-to-day projects.  Direction and detailed instruction for specific projects by client representative. Work will be reviewed during the process and checked for accuracy upon completion.


  • Display strong knowledge of the workflow from the beginning to end of all drawings as it pertains to projects, tracking, current REVs, deliverables, and storage.
  • Organize and prepare documents for delivery while maintaining security and confidentiality.
  • Creates and delivers transmittals to specified recipient, by specific delivery method.
  • Interface with both external and internal clients to provide required documentation.
  • Demonstrates adherence to client-driven engineering document services policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
  • Display the ability to learn quickly and make minor discretionary decisions without supervision.
  • Maintain proper tracking of emails, transmittals and any distributed information if requested.
  • Handle squad check from beginning to completion.
  • Track, maintain, and update (supersede) latest revision of files.
  • Time management and project request flexibility.
  • Other duties and special projects as assigned.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Must be a self-starter with initiative, hard worker who can work independently and as a member of a team.
  • Must be detailed oriented; precise and organized in handling of documents.
  • Solid organizational skills required; must be able to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong knowledge of current document control system and operations as it pertains to all of Kahuna.
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Strong computer skills and proficient in Microsoft office.
  • Entry-level position.  Kahuna is willing to train the right candidate
